O.o Most dogs will run faster when chased and need a really good reason to come to you. Lol. Whew. We take our 5 pound boy to the dog park. And. He is able to get under the fence and wants to go play with the big boys. Brave boy. I fell in love with papillons in 1999 when Kirby won best in show at Westminster. Got my first one in 2006 and unfortunately lost him in 2015. Now have two, a brother and sister. They are the best breed. I too fell in love with Papillions when Kirby won!!!
I have had 2 that have passed on. I am currently looking for my new baby. Chris Holland Campbell Nelson how sweet. Our little boy is 5 pounds and his sister is 3 1/2. I looked at your profile and saw where you work at a VA center. Bless you for that. Our pap Lily runs around our house like that with her big sister Miley a lab/huskie mix. It's really funny because Lily runs under the Christmas trees to escape. Cassie will be 10 in May and I swear she still has the energy of a puppy! I don’t walk her. She walks me! Tonight she was making me jog on her “walk”. Yes, Papillons are agile, speedy and smart as all get-out! Go Sparkle Go, Papillion's are the best! Easy to train and Love their people. So glad I brought my Pap, Rufus home 14 years ago. He still darts around like a puppy. I watched all of the Westminster agility. It was great.

That's what I'm training Kenny to do. It's so much fun for both of us. He can do each of the obstacles, but not that many in a row. Also he's not so fast on some of them. The weave poles need more work. I wish I were smarter in navigating courses, but that's just part of the training. Kenny wishes that I could be more coordinated & as smart as he is! look how that 'owner/trainer' runs - I always gave kudos to the doggies - but this time I focused on the 'person' - man she can move! You must be in good shape youself to be chasing the pooch. Kudos to her and her doggie. Wonderful breed. I've owned 2. I love the starting line excitement. When she sees her person. The rest is great as well. Especially for a 12 yr old dog.

Great job. was just telling me about this type of competition, and here it is first-hand (well, almost first-hand). I agree with you Molly Price, I don't think I'd be able to keep up with the dog... i cried watching this, cause the puppy is so fast and good and trained and she is so excited at the end omg. i have to be pmsing wow i cried. Wow, my heart was just racing watching that as if I was doing the course! Lol! I would be laying on the ground trying to catch my breath, but it's just bouncing up and down like it's nothing. We just a Papillion - I should say my daughter and I are sharing him as she lives with me. His name is Poppy and he is only 8 months. He can jump higher than my head. I still miss my Westie who died last year at 15 years old. Having trouble finding a Westie breeder so if anyone knows one let us know. What a little cracker. One of my Cyprus rescues is half Papillon and she runs just like this. I showed them for breeder in Suffolk years ago. Nothing to touch them for a small breed. Fantastic little dogs!!
