Found one yesterday that was placed along a path on a nature trail - I'm a yoga teacher and my IG is honeybee.yogi because my name means honeybee and that seems to be my spirit animal. It was perfect for me! I absolutely love hearing a "found rock" story and how this rock was MADE FOR YOU just like my kids and nephews hoped for our rocks! What types of paints are you using that adheres to the rocks and doesn't wash off? Also, do you use paint pens for the lettering? Non-toxic acrylic paint or spray paint was recommended and that is what we used. We used Sharpies to write the words. There are Sharpies in gold and silver now. This is awesome.....................I too walk when I'm "low".............having a hubby battling cancer the last 3 years gave me plenty of low moments..........but the key like you said is looking for the goodness..........."opening your eyes" if you will ..............I love love love this idea........thank you for sharing and for always sharing your heart....................... I stumbled upon this idea from a story I read...while it's extremely sad, the woman is amazingly courageous and kind. She is truly inspiring and reminds me a lot of your posts. I did it...mostly:) I did need to do most of the writing because they were tough to write on:) These are wonderful, Carrie!!! How old are your nephews? Mine are 4 and 6. We had a lot of fun. One of them wanted his to say, "Don't get eaten by a bear." His mom suggested 'Be Beary Kind.' At first I loved this idea but then I had a thought that I love nature and the beach rocks I see on vacation pure and in their natural environment. I love the simplicity of a nature walk and get these messages through nature itself. I see this movement as well.

Intended but a little bit as an invasion in nature. Putting rocks where they naturally wouldn't be with paint and markers on them. That said, i really like story of the mom who hid the rock for her own daughter to find about "girls in glasses rock "💕. Mixed feelings. Thanks, Adele, for sharing your perspective. I see troubled hearts being lifted by a rock with a message that feels like it was divinely planted just for them ... I see people thinking of others and spreading hope and love. (I think it started in Mexico and is widespread in all of Latin America) They paint walls that need painting all white and they then write on it a simple verse that is both poetic and uplifting. We are going on an August Adventure - taking 13 eleven year old Girl Scouts rafting, zip lining, kayaking and a high ropes course. They are a fantastic and unique group.
