I said before he was born, that he would be used as a weapon against us and I was right! So lovely to watch! My beautiful mum missed out on being a grandma to my children. I know this is what it would have been like, if she was still here! only Allah knows how much i want that my kids would have seen my mother onces....she left us before they born but sometime i love imagining how she would have loved them....+ Its the most wonderful feeling to be in that stage in my life, I'm grateful that I have a granddaughter, I hope and pray to have more grandchildren one day before I get to old. Oh Yes I do believe! God gives us great gifts with our own children but when he blesses us again with Grandchildren it is a whole new ballgame! They were married a little over 50 years before my grandpa passed shortly before i was born from a brain tumor. My husband and I speak of our grandparents frequently. I only know my grandpa who passed many years ago, but had a passion for making his grandkids happy. My husband was raised by his grandparents and remembers fondly of them dancing together while the kids ate at the dinner table. Love was something that I thought was a myth or only happens to other people and by the time I was 31 I was happy to be alone, traveling, working and adventuring.
One night a bunch of us were out for dinner and a friends girlfriend told me about this woman and I said "sounds like the perfect person" laughing all the while.
She said, that's my mother and I am going to introduce you two her....
She felt the same way about relationships as I did.
6 dates in the first week and 30 years later.....well you could say we got along...and her two daughters got to do a lot of things that I never got to do.
Being around her family was like walking onto the Waltons set and she has been a beautiful bright light in my life.
