I Don’t Care Who Dies In A Movie As Long As The Dog Lives Tee

They created a fully developed world, every little detail layered with meaning, and didn’t feel obliged to explain everything like it was a children’s movie. There was a sense of mystery to some of it, but a load of planning went into how the world evolved to this point. It was in my top 5 movies of that year. I actually got an adrenaline rush watching it - never got that at a film before... Mad Max was even present in Fury Road? All I saw was a guy spent half the film in chains... Best moviein Australia? If you except the Special Effects, I dont think thismovie deserves any title as "best"... I am sorry Mad Max... I am sorry... The mad max movies were never about max though, it was more about the characters he encountered than anything. So yeah the movie was on point. Doommaker Oldmanschild so? If you you back and watch them he barely speaks in all 3. Same with the 2015 game, he rarely speaks and it focuses on the characters more. Doommaker Oldmanschild you do realise that Mad Max is the 'generic post apocalyptic road warrior' trope - everything else is imitation. Ι give up people.. this is why we can not have nice things... You enjoyed a movie about a guy who spends have the movie in bonds, speaking 5 times, and the one time he was about to do something cool, the director went with the UNFREAKING BELIEVABLE "Stay here. I ll be right back"... and we can hear somewhere in the distance Mad Max giving hell but no.. why see it? Because FUCK YOU thats why... This movie failed EPICLY to breath life back to Mad Max and apart from the special effects that i must say they were really good, it sucks. And it is a waste because the cast was good, the production values where high but it lacked in scenario and some directory choices they made. I was really sorry because this theme and this character are one of my favourites. It was cool and a fun popcorn film, however... I thought it was a bit overrated. What I did love about it was the fact that it was all practical effects, that made it amazing!. I thought it was good.

Kept things simple like Pt.2, expanded the Mad Max world etc.
Yes Pt 1 & 2 are better, but it was still fun.
Shame there wasn't a Mel Gibson cameo.

But Chopper was definitely a better movie.
Eric Banner was brilliant. Absolutely loved this film. If you are a fan of Mad Max and comprehend the type of film it is then you'll appreciate this reboot done right. 100% pure popcorn fun! Best movie ..... really ? Did they watch it with their eyes closed

It killed the original as not only did they not explain any back story they effectively made the second original into the first remake

How did max end up the way he is .... oh yeh no one knows as nothing was explained like in the original. How is this movie not a master piece? What realm of reality do you occupy? Did we not watch the same movie or something?! This movie is underrated if anything. Star Wars and Lord of the Rings wished that they were even a fraction of being as good as this movie. We're only 18 years into this century. The last time Australians made a difference in film was in the previous century by giving us a GOOD set of Mad Max films and Crocodile Dundee :D.
