My Father In Law is in his 3rd Year on a Alzheimers Ward and he is now bed bound, we are watching him slip away but we hang on to every moment of clarity when he responds and remembers anything from the past...even though he as forgotten us ...we still love him so much. My "job" is taking care of those whom have this terrible Alzheimer's . I see loved ones trying to handle what their Mom , Dad , Grandparent , Sibling ,Friend, ect, are now.Yet knowing who they were. I hear every day "this nor my Mom , or Dad would have never said that.I say this is the Alzhemers , love them more today than yesterday , that is all they need. I love each any every one of my clients as they were my family . If there is any video any song that can show the impact that Alzheimer's has on someone and and their family members it is this one !!!!!! Lost my brother in law to Alzheimer's , so sad to see a person dissapear but they remain without any of their personality. It so cruel, when it happens, every now and then a glimpse of them comes back, but you know that that person you loved so dearly is lost forever, it,s a double tragedy, as you still have to go through losing them anyway. What a lovely. Son you are, bless you. This is absolutely beautiful. My mum is suffering from Alzheimer’s also.
