Sorry, I may assume....
- and if I made you laugh ?
I have reached my (daily) "mission". People on BBC comments need stop stop feeding trolls and fake accounts. It is so easy to spot a fake account on BBC comments. BBC comments are almost always consisting completely of troll or fake account with the most reactions and then people replying or commenting as to how awful those supposedly "real" people are. How sad can you be to create a fake account on facebook just to rile people up, that's pathetic, have people never heard of hobbies?!? At least the leader of your nation isn't under investigation and doesn't go by the name "trump". Count your blessings. Montana Tony
It's only helpful to be on the same page when we're reading from the same book. You lost me at "obsession". That word brings me back to the 80's and a very potent, overpowering perfume that goes by the same name. Full disclosure, I have no idea as to what you are referencing but I am completely intrigued. And more than a bit entertained. It's a slow night here in Orlando Florida and I'm not feeling particularly interested in comedies on Netflix. You have my attention. P.s. you called me a "dick". I loved it so much that I toasted you on a sip of the Glenlivet. No one has ever called me that before. Other things, hell yes, but not "dick". I freaking love BBC posts and their threads. Cheers to serendipity! You kidding?

in a Brexit negotiation i would love someone like Trump, a guy that's unashamedly pro-British and does not give a fu*k is exactly what we need. Montana Tony If you take an article that has nothing to even do with the United States and somehow manage to get to Trump, it's an obsession. Dear British Biased Coperation. Woman of colour? You mean black women? It really is acceptable to say 'black'. No one will curse you for being factual, ffs. In England many minorities of color hail from nations of the former Empire. They used to refer to Indians as "Black." I'm guessing that term would be too inexplicit to really communicate what they mean by it. It's really OK to say "Women of color." Asian women would come under the 'women of colour' umbrella term. You understand that they're not black, don't you? Actually I've just been informed that's randomly okay, even though it actually sounds more racist than many of the terms which are deemed unacceptable. ‘POC’ is a term that essentially means a collective of all that are not white. You should be able to see the agenda right there. Yes women of colour. Not black. Women whose heritage and ancestry are of Asian descent do not relate to "black". The term is being used to be inclusive of the vast majority of racial backgrounds as opposed to one.

It's a widely accepted term, especially in the US, but what people are failing to understand that whilst describing people by their ethnic origin is both right and okay, describing them as people of colour is also okay. Especially if you don't know their race. Or are describing people from a variety of races. It's not "randomly" okay and has been used and accepted since around the 1970s, strengthening during the 80s and 90s, now being accepted by almost every person of colour. I don't think it's "hidden", & to be fair, at that time the vast majority of women were white, and those stories are bound to be the most prominent! The fact that there were women from other races or ethnicities is a good thing to be made aware of but let's not make it a divisive "us and them" issue!
