However, he said he was a hardcore Metallica fan. The era in which matters not. It’s a “to each his own” situation. They’ll never be able to get back to what their first 4 albums were. Those were the best and always will be, personally of course. I agree because the song was meant to be different genre , but let me tell you , this one its like 100 times better in music complexity . I’m not a hard core metal fan but appreciate their craft and there is some music I like. What I really like is the fact that you like her craft. Great music, different style and all enjoyable. Robb Taylor yeah! Their first four will always remain the best. But what I appreciate is their ability to adapt and give different generations the chance to get into metal and rock. So much pop and rap crap now a days, rock has to survive somehow or drown in all the rest of the music. Some may call it selling out, or whatever, but heck....there they are aging away and still going out and leaving it all on stage. But I do appreciate your point of view. I enjoyed it but I gotta say love the Metallicaversion, the connection with the lyrics is just amazing with them. But 15 bloody bravo. If we are going to split hairs.
The 20’s were very much more Rag time.

NO, I HATE this sort of shit. While she has great talent, she's just 15 years old. Those kinds of emotions haven't been discovered. You've got to experience it to be able to convey it properly through your vocals. Exactly what I was thinking! Her voice is beautiful but this style lacks the depth of emotion I get from Metallica’s version. This style wasn’t meant to be dark and full of angst. fun. but not quite accurate. although doesn't really need to be but they wouldn't have sounded like that. they were 4 guys.
2 guitars, 1 bass player and a drummer. heavy metal came from rock n roll, which was in full effect in the 1960's and heavy metal was just getting started then so just look at metallica's influences from the 1960's and that's probably a closer match. I dig it but Metallica would never sound like this even in sixties two different styles of music.Just cause you sing lyrics from Metallica does not make it Metallica lol. Victoria Bauer I make a simple observation and I'm a douche? What's that make you for being rude? In any event I could care less about a random strangers opinion of me, you might want to grow up and do the same.
