There was a section today, fully barriered and with stewards yet a few kms further on, no barriers or stewards and the 'fans' were once again encroaching. suggests the organisers need to utilise their roadside manpower better. Here bloody here, spraying pepper spray at farmers for protesting but do nothing about fans getting in the way of the racing!!! The TDF needs a review and the French fans need to focus on enjoying the racing rather that all the other crap!! I've just watched the highlights on itv4 and there was no end of people spitting at Froomedog. Where is the security from the white-flag waving French? They are completely incompetent. You’re being ridiculous.. there’s thousands of people on that mountain.. when the riders come down with their numbers off and covered in a coat it would be easy for a cop to not recognize him.. I’ve ridden down with many riders after a stage and was beside Bradley Wiggins on the descent from morzine for about 200 meters before I realized who he was.. the cop is there to protect the riders still on the way to the finish of the stage.. maybe if Froome would have done what the cop said he wouldn’t have come off.. why are English people so quick to point the finger at other nationalities and make it a us and them situation ... you wouldn’t be the most popular bunch on the planet either you know.. oh and by the way, this is what Froome riding clean looks like!!! The French are starting to look like a set of right bitter and twisted aresholes at this tour.

Thankfully Bardet had the kind of day France deserves from this Tour. What a tosser of a policeman. And as for those who find this funny, I hope nobody laughs at your misfortune some time. What is good about someone crashing ? No one thinks it is funny. The police man probably dealt with asshats all day long and Froome was covered up in nondescript jacket and even teh pictures shows the police man's demeanor to be sorrowful with his hands open like that. You're the tosser for not seeing it for what it is. A mistake. Shock the police happen to mistake Froome for a fan...just another nail in the coffin of a shambles of a Tourin terms of security and organisation!!!! Chris Froome has the powers of a saint in terms of remaining calm with all the abuse that happens to him. It’s a disgrace that he’s had to have a body guard ! He’s been treated disgracefully by the French spectators . I pray he and G are 1+2 that’s pay back enough .
