Thank you for all you do and are! Prof Sebastian Springer from the Jacobs Universityin Bremen must be someone with a wider understanding of the world at large. Its sad that there are not more like him in Pole positions in our further Education Systems. Germany must take over in the important role of research and technology for our world filling the gap that the USA used to fill before the political climate changed after the last presidential Election. More funding is needed and a welcome for students world wide would make Germany not only a great country but a leading light needed in this unstable world. Thank you for posting this message to thank Prof Springer, we need more of your kind in this world. Please cite me the facts you have concerning a "gap" that has occurred in the last 18 months. You are trying to imply that our policies were perfect under every past president and now all of a sudden there is a drastic gap. Show me the evidence. And has it crossed your mind that Hashem displaced a German citizen that deserved a seat?

Sounds to me Hashem was not wanted in Germany and essentially begged and used his situation to get a sympathy vote. That is just pathetic. Cheryl Hudson Best I can tell , Germany IS a leading light in Europe. I dont know for a fact but I doubt they NEED immigrants. I suspect they have plenty of smart kids. I give him a point for that. And even that was not a for sure that he would get it, sometimes you find someone that your able to pull the heart strings of, and you do. He was running out of time, 4 weeks. And even though the odds were against him, he got it done. I do not see your point then, what am I missing. He didn't do anything that anyone one could not have done, but for the only part being, perhaps they did not think of it.

That is I would think, their problem, and not his. Now he in Germany, so what does even bringing up his country mean to all of this. The money he said was only if he had gotten this done in Germany. I have no reason to not believe him on this point. Why some are so negative, sometimes, when someone gets things done, and in a thinking out of the box kind of way, and then some people seem to have a problem with this! I do not! My thinking is this, as with the glass half full of milf, he got it done is what the bottom line is. There was nothing about it being illegal, so what exactly is the problem! And even if it did displace a German citizen, then that is a problem they need to address, and no one else! It was the German Gov't that even allowed him into the country, right? Very sad.
