Maybe they don't do that anymore ... Definitely a good idea - nothing worse than letting a child get bored when their natural capacities (for whatever reason) are slightly ahead ... xxxxxxNo, dear Shelley ... That would have been amazing!!! In fact was a "late starter" at Laine's, my teacher always told me I'd never make it to a vocational school due to lack of natural turn-out etc etc... Till at 19 I decided I'd have a go anyway without consulting her!! And got admitted to Laine's and D Bird ... Chose Laine's. Were you a Tring student? Everyone I know who was,has great memories of being there ... xxxx. Same here , sent up then when I should have left , dates clashed I had to go back , lasted 2 days then went to college as couldn't get a NI number until following Easter . Up to a point it's obvious - early childhood is an age where being a few months older is a massive difference in terms of cognitive development. actually my mom did hold me back a year before I started going to school (as in the article)... That definitely makes me wiser for my age if not smarter. I dont think that matters.

I'm an August baby so was assessed with people a year older than me in my year at school, but I always got top results and was always in top set at school. I finished my degree at 20 with people who were 21, I'm now doing a Masters degree and will be going on to do a PhD. I've always been assessed with people a year older than me in my education but still done extremely well. I don't think birth month has anything to do with<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->Fight For Old Dc Caps Shirt. Doesn’t apply in my province in Canada because the cutoff for school enrolment is Dec 31. It’s the Jan/Feb kids who are “smarter”. I would say that the study has taken from children who attend school... the academic year runs September to August... children born in September are almost a whole year older than those in August.. they have a slight advantage because their brains are more developed that’s all.. not smarter. At 18 months my grandson is pretty smart and kind and funny, nothing to do with starting school. He does have a fabulous family around him also but who knows, it may have something to do with September. I was born in September and I remember new children starting school each term during my first year there. They didn’t do that anymore when my children started school. My “July baby” really wasn’t ready at four years and seven weeks. But they get an extra year’s schooling compared to those born in August. My granddaughters were 3 years apart chronologically but only 2 academically because of the primary school admissions<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->Jack Jack Powers Shirt. They aren’t innately smarter, they have just had more life advantages and experience. Why else would your birth month effect your intelligence? Makes some medical sense. Conceived in January when people are doing New Years resolutions to drink less, loose weight and be generally healthier. That would lead to improved neurodevelopment. And what if you were born in September and were the YOUNGEST in the class and had jumped a year when entering Junior School. No names, no pack drill ! Sarah was born 1 Sep and we are astounded by her she is 41/2 and trying to read and write. The women at preschool say she has the capabilities of a 6 year old. When was Myles born Denise? They will be the oldest in their year this having up to an 11 month advantage over some others at an age when it makes a difference. People who done this study must also believe in astrology is my guess. They seem dumb enough to do the study in the first place. I already knew I was a genius..but now we are going to have a baby genius too...me and the tiny one can start a quiz team!! I was born on 31st of August. Does that mean that I lost all of this wisdom just because i was born one day be4? What kind of curse is this. My great niece will start school. 4 days after her 4th birthday. Goes to nursery and is smarter than most children at age 5. I guess the people who where carrying out the study non of them where even born in September so this finding is dumb. Yes, like Albert Einstein, born in March. Or Stephen Hawking, born in January. Oh wait Isaac Newton... born in December. Mmm John Lennon was close: October, as was<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->Incredibles 2 Edna Mode Shirt.

I've known at least ONE complete idiot born inSeptember...he knew lots of stuff (mostly from books rather than actual intelligence or experience), but, all he knew was on about 2 or 3 subjects. He was the most narrow minded, self absorbed, & USELESS pos I ever knew!! It's cause they are older than most of the chn in their year so therefore in some cases are a year nearly older than others. This might be true. My last daughter born in September 2016 starting walking in 10 months, eats with spoon unaided from one, speaks clearly and climbs the steps one two with different legs. Her fast development amazes me. I was born in september and im now 59 I didnt complete high school but my two kids went to Harvard.I know im smart. Load of old bulls×××. I was born in September. Thanks for cheering up my day with your honesty. Well you could start with a better attitude. Only YOU have the power to change your life around and make it better. You're never to old to bring yourself happiness. I am a September baby and have struggled most of my<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->big assawoman bay t shirt and haven't really achieved anything but here I am trying to make a better life.
