Where else would you see gangs accepting handicapped people as one of their own... This is the result of colonization and the struggle it has left behind for the black and brown kids. As a European I acknowledge that. As a Polynesian the only way to combat gangs is to work with them. And the only way to stop the violence is teach the kids. The system was never designed for them to succeed. We have to change things in order for change to occur. No you dont want to live there. It's a small-town gossipy joke of a country...very narrow minded (saying that, the Dutch king married a Latino girl). Well I'm sure there's plenty who would. Do know: we are very individual, family doesn't always come first, we don't dance, we do gossip (who doesn't) and we like thing to be in order like the Germans but we have more humor. Wow, everything you said sounds dissapointing, but honestly I don't care gossiping and I don't really care other people's opinions, nor that individuality (cause in fact I'm not that loving as latins use to be when it's about family) nor your German manners haha , but thank you for sharing what you think about your country.

I guess it will be nice for us foreigners to get to know it by ourselves but it's ok to have at least an idea about it. On the plus side: we are one of the best educated countries in the world, healthcare is excellent, pensions are good, and the living standard is also very good. If you have good skills you will make plenty of money. Also, we are one of the most entrepreneurial countries in the world, we trade with everyone. :-) I mentioned those earlier points because those are things most people have to get used to when moving to the Netherlands, I don't see them as negatives but I know some people do. The Netherlands is nice. Don't be fooled by Dutchies who apparently never lived anywhere else on the globe. The Netherlands must be one of the greatest countries in the world to live. It is Shiko! :-D But some people need to adjust when moving here. Especially if they're from a more collectivistic culture. True and the straightforwardness of most Dutch might also be something to take into account ;-). But overall. I have never seen such a great place where people from all over the world mixing together, as back home in sweet Amsterdam.
