sounds great on the surface but look deeper. I think it's the young peoples time to speak out. Now is their time. Perhaps the reason why older citizens are out for this initiative is because we keep voting in the same politicians who do the same darn thing, because 130 million people did not vote at all in the general election, & the race was partly won on 53 million carefully zoned votes, where politicians who's knee jerk response is " thoughts & prayers", while they continue to be bought by the NRA & vote down sensible gun laws, where there is still a civil rights issue that needs to be addressed in the 21st century, where 99.999% of the current cabinet is white older males.

where white older wealthy males make legislative decisions for the poor, the outcast, the disenfranchised , the homeless, social security (which they don't contribute to) the immigrant, where some of them forgot where they came from, rarely give back, where they have lifetime golden parachute like pensions, where every couple of months,, one of them is embroiled in some scandal, controversy or impropriety. Where blatantly impeachable offences are being committed weekly, & hypocrisy is front & center. So yes, Baby Boomers like myself can sit this one out, so the young can take the platform & maybe the swamp truly will be drained.
