Huh. Last time I checked race usually meant different type, not entirely different species. Well shit. I learned something new today. I cannot even recline without one sticking its feathery sadness into my face. Siiigh. I fear the humans will never eat the pecky things and I will be forced to choke them down. One. By. One...... I'm honestly tired of these videos. While they may enjoy each others company, one accidental bite or claw can seriously injure or kill a small animal such as a chick. I work at a large emergency vet clinic and we see rabbits and birds injured by their "best friends" way too often. Agree. And these videos I think encourage people to do this. This cat is very irritated in this video but instead of removing the chick, they continue to take video. A cats saliva is deadly to birds, too. An accidental bite will kill this chick, if the cat hasn't already killed it by losing its patience. 'accidents' can happen between species AS WELL AS IN THE SAME SPECIES. I'm sure you have seen dog-on-dog attacks...

All animals,as with this cat, seem to recognize a baby regardless of species. This doesn't make thus a good idea.
