Even when drawing on your walls. It’s a great big canvas for them. My walls covered in my daughters “painting” where her paint of choice was H.E. Laundry detergent would like to politely disagree with you. A friend of mine’s playroom is this way! Her kids can draw/paint/color whatever they want on the playroom walls and they’ve never drawn where they aren’t supposed to! Yeah I was over the moon when my toddler somehow found a red sharpie and scribbled on her brothers bedroom walls after I'd spent countless hours redecorating it. Just buy blackboard paint and get your kiddos a box of sidewalk chalk. They will have hours of fun and it’s easy to clean. Why? Seriously! Why? It's ingenious, yet the promotion focus seems it's for tasks as well? To erase artwork? Or draw it for you? Where is the pleasure or designing something yourself? It's in the act of doing that the true exploration happens. Another thing to get bored with, in the end. And to always erase what you just did? Just look at your cell phone or at the computer screen. Why mess up your wall. Not everyone is artistically inclined. My 7th grade art class teacher said I draw like a kindergartener. This product is for peeps like me! instead of using 2 seconds of your day to look up the weather, just wait an hour for this to write it on your wall. And then if the weather changes, your wall won't. That’s fantastic, but things like this where it’s basically an ad, it should just tell us the gotdam price/or how much NowThis Future got paid to run it. This would be great for kids murals on their room walls you could just paint it in.Or for class rooms as a teaching aid when doing geography for eg. And if you put it on the floor? Does it get confused and not work? Does it spell out that it is a wall robot only, but for another 350, you can buy my brother, Pete, the floor drawing robot? Their cousin Carl used to do ceilings, but was fired when customers woke up to find he had written 'play with me' over their beds and freaked them out.

It's a robot family business. This would be really cool if you could design your own stuff and have it draw it. I imagine that it wouldn't be very hard to apply the same programming a large format printer uses to precision cut products, considering it seems to be using the same idea, but with a marker. As a design student, I personally would much rather be able to have this little guy draw my own work on the wall. The real time updates feature is really neat though! I kinda dont like it, as an artist, (but maybe some people do) but don’t get used to it, try learning some stuff and keep it away from the kidsss.

I feel like the math that determines it's location needs to have a good idea of how the nails are oriented in respect to each other. I wonder how that is done. I was just thinking yesterday, no joke, as I listened to a story about “robot tax”, because of all the people robots put out of work, that well at least artists and creators can’t be touched. Never mind. As cool as this is... it puts artists out of what few jobs there are out there that don't require college degrees.
It is a very cool tool though. This is awesome...but instead of spending a few hundred on this...go pay a REAL LIVE ARTIST to do art on urwalls!!
