Doesn’t mean we Can use our planet as a garbage dump, mess up the oceans. Destroy the woods and jungles, and nature. Sometimes is progress a decline in our own capacity to excist and use our brains. Polar bear populations are increasing. 9,000 years ago there was a period of 100-200 years when there was no Arctic sea ice. The polar bears survived that. And what would people have the photographer do OTHER than take pictures? A) it's his job and b) it is WILD STARVING POLAR BEAR. it would have probably attacked even if it wasn't starving, so getting mad at the photographer for not doing anything to help the bear is unreasonable, as I doubt anyone with good survival instincts would offer to feed the bear by hand. Who said “ by hand “ expand your mind , think about it for a second . They knew the bear was there they’d seen it previously, went back to find him to take pictures .

They could’ve left food in the area walked away and let it eat !!! I guess that is true, and maybe they should have, but the bear sounded like it left before they had the chance to leave anything. And I realise no one would actually feed the bear by hand, I meant to say that no inexperienced individual would, or should attempt to feed a wild animal without the proper gear or personnel. The people on the boat most likely had no choice but to let nature take it's course. Sometimes that is the harsh reality. Also, I would appreciate not being told to "expand my mind". It can come off as condescending, and I need to work on using it less myself. Why doesn't the wildlife conservation force feed them , if they have people photographing them they must know the whereabout of some of them. Feed them and more of them might come and thus u can save them. Very strange rule. You say feed them and more will come. You mean polar bears? That just means theres less food to gonaround. Because they should survive on their own, we can't sit in the arctic feeding everyone while simultaneously fucking things up.
