But only if they sign up through the DC exchange. If they sign up elsewhere they pay 100% of the premiums of their required ACA plan. You're right Bryn Stephens in that their coverage is for them to pay 28% of their pre-tax dollars for healthcare. BUT they get to choose a gold-level Obamacare policy and receive federal subsidies that cover 72 percent of the cost of the premiums. So in other words, they only have to pay .0784 percent of their pre-tax dollars towards their premium.
They also have access to "free or low-cost care" through the Office of the Attending Physician as well as "free medical outpatient care at military facilities" in the D.C. area.
But do you know why they want to repeal Obamacare? Because they had an even better deal going before the ACA. Hell, we cant ever even get the deal they have now. But they are willing to make things worse for everyone else just so that they dont ever have to pay their fair share.

Pure greed! Sadly, during the campaign, Trump sounded closer to Bernie than did HRC. He just lied a bit more than the other. Capitalism is just a disaster for the common folks. Here is the sad situation...I am currently in a health scare situation. I of course hoping for best and believe it will be just fine. I have found myself thinking...wow what if it is bad news...and my next thought is at what point do I want to just refuse treatment because I do not want to rack up medical expenses for my loved ones to deal with. I do not want to do that to them. That is a sad conversation in my head (now out loud) people should be able to just fight with everything and not worry about medical bills. We should be worried only to help people survive and fight. Not only for rich people. I am sick of having those thoughts that I do not want to financially burden my family "IF". Just adding more stress to our lives and making us sick. Its an evil circle.
