Sorry. uggh... having shivers. Spider venom is actually very "nice" to their prey. It numbs them and puts them to sleep much like you'd put an pet down at the vet. I remember seeing one of my Yeah Buoy Life Is Good Shirt (back before he got too scared of crickets and would only eat dead ones) catch a cricket and the cricket was just calmly grooming it's antennae while my spider put it to sleep. They're designed to be quick, quiet, and efficient, and to "nicely" kill the #1 deadliest animals on earth: mosquitoes and flies. You are right but there are spiders who's venom only paralizes and they eat while their prey still alive just not being able to move. So for that I don't see anything nice. But it's nature I guess. Fly spray works to attack the central nerve system of whatever bugs you're spraying it at. Basically everything shuts down until it can't even breathe which happens up to a day later.
