I guess we can't blame them for trying to get some attention... still, it was addressed as cannibalism for years by the media. I remember when this happened. I remember reading the book later & marveling at the courage of those young people who survived. In an Indian language "Gujrati"I read this survival story before 35 years named "Zindgi Zindgi".
It means Life Life. I have this book . And also watched the movie Alive. My friend took me to watch this documentary a few years ago in the small theater, it's still hard to believe how they could survive under the unbelievable rough situation. Those people are extremely brave! I have this book - read it many many times - even did a project t on it many years ago when I was in school/college - written so well - an outstanding account of a tragedy that was filled with love x.

I have read this book & seen movie and documentaries on this. It is such a harrowing yet moving story
I remember seeing the news reports on this. I ordered the book through Scholastic Book Club at school and loved it. Then was very excited to see the movie Alive. Very sad and heartbreaking story of survival. Sweet n tender? I get my nose cauterised as i have severe nosebleeds. It's not sweet n tender, nor does it smell sweet n tender.

After reading the article a couple of times it sounds the question was if he would go to the JROTC ball with her? It stated that her PJ friend is going with her.. great story. Whoever wrote this story realized at the last minute that including the question “would you marry me” in the article is inappropriate and will anger a lot of readers so he dropped the idea but he forgot to change the title. Lol.
